EUROPE — Max Fosh is a British YouTuber. He is famous for doing awkward and funny things in public.

He decided to try a strange challenge. He wanted to break ten unusual laws in ten European countries in only two days.

Max needed careful planning and perfect timing. Many of the “crimes” were very small. They were more silly than dangerous.

He started in the United Kingdom. A law called the Salmon Act says you cannot hold a salmon “suspiciously.” Max held a fish in a strange way to break the rule.

Next, he went to Belgium. In Belgium, foreigners cannot keep pigeons without government permission. Max “committed” pigeon possession.

In the Netherlands, it is illegal to read a stranger’s text messages over their shoulder. Max looked at someone’s phone to break this rule.

In Germany, a pillow can be considered a “passive weapon.” Max invited strangers to have a pillow fight with him.

In Luxembourg, it is illegal to remove windshield wipers from a car. Max took the wipers off and got wet in the rain.

In France, it is illegal to work in a bakery while drunk. In Liechtenstein, it is illegal to burp loudly in public. Max drank a soda and burped on purpose.

He also visited Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. For his final act, he went hiking in the Alps with no clothes. This was illegal in some places and also very cold.

In the end, Max completed his challenge. He broke ten strange laws, made one video, and got many views online.
