Grammar Cheatsheet
- like, love, hate, start can often be followed by a gerund or an infinitive with little or no change in meaning.
- remember + gerund = you remember something you did before.
- remember + infinitive = you remembered first, and then you did it.
- forget + gerund = you forgot something that happened before.
- forget + infinitive = you did not remember to do something, so you did not do it.
- stop + gerund = quit an action.
- stop + infinitive = pause one action in order to do another action.
